Question

whynot's picture

I have a question & am wondering if anybody else has had this happen. I am on Day 22 today - it is literally amazing & only by the grace of a higher power & this community of beautiful people. Anyway, I am wondering about if I get sick or have a hangover sometime & I have to vomit - meaning my body is having a physical reaction - I am not forcing myself to vomit - when that happens in the future - will that trigger me? I know there is not an absolute answer - because each individual is different...but just started to wonder...

Congrats on 22 days! Eeeesh,

Congrats on 22 days! Eeeesh, your question is tricky. I don't personally know, because I stopped drinking soon after I began bulimia. I guess my advice would be to try to lessen the alcohol intake so you dont have a hangover just to avoid that situation. But I think that if I were to vomit out of sickness it wouldnt be real apppealing cause I would still feel like shit afterwords. If this is a concern, then just be aware if you do vomit to take extra care of yourself and connecting with people to steer away from bulimia. Hope this helps
